• Professional appearance
• Polite, outgoing, friendly, dedicated to exceeded customer expectations
• Ability to speak English clearly and either Italian, French, Portuguese or German
• Anticipates customer needs, “whatever it takes” attitude
• Excellent sales skills and focus on selling premium brands
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without aide
Your Role:
• Customer-Care focused, delivering outstanding customer service to all of our guests
• Knowledge of ship’s activities and functions
• Anticipates customer needs, “whatever it takes” attitude
• Quickly and accurately mixes drinks according to drink preparation guidelines.
• Converses with guests, answers questions, provides information, promotes drink specials, offers premium brands
• Asks for appropriate identification to determine minimum drinking age
• Takes orders from guests and bar servers
• Maintains, secures and cleans bar area
• Promotes teamwork and provides on-the-job-training
Your Background:
• 2-3 years Professional bartending in 4 or 5 star restaurant preferred
• Working knowledge of varying brands and quality of liquors, beers, and wines
• Ability to work independently and to quickly and accurately mix drinks according to drink preparations guidelines.
• Working knowledge of health and cleanliness standards
• Working knowledge of inventory control methods and standards
• Working knowledge of cash registers or computerized point of sale systems
• Ability to perform basic math functions with regards to calculating tips, discounts and percentages
