We are currently seeking a Terminal Manager in Kitchener, Ontario. The prime objective of the role is to grow the profitability of the terminal through dynamic leadership, solid commercial acumen and exemplary customer service.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- P & L responsibility for the terminal
- Manage transport and warehouse
- Customer resolution and public relations
- Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Act as the liaison between customers, planning and support staff
- Working within staffing policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Required. Post Secondary education in business and/or in a logistics-related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in a management role, preferably in the transportation/logistics industry
- Solid leadership skills - the ability to motivate and engage a dynamic employee base
- Experience in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Flexible and adaptable to learning new skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
