For their Calgary office, they are currently looking for a motivated and detail oriented
PROCESS ENGINEER (SENIOR)
The purpose of this role is to assist in the development and maintenance of process standards, budgets, schedules and workflows that match project requirements. Also, this position is to ensure that the process deliverables meet both client and internal standards and that they are available to other disciplines.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Accountable for process performance specifications of all equipment
* Within scope of supervision, responsible for the operability and safety of plant designs
* Develop and maintain contacts with key staff in other organizations and firms
* Provide input for inter-discipline reviews
* Mentor and guide other team members
Qualification of the right candidate:
* Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
* Registered or eligible to register with APEGGA
* Around 10 years of similar experience with an EPC company
* In-dept knowledge of ore-preparation, froth treatment or extraction technologies
* Experienced in PFD’s, P&IDs etc.
* Proven ability to develop new processes or processing schemes as required
* Strong software skills such as: Pro/II and Hysys
* Good communication / negotiation skills
