PLANNER / SCHEDULER (Senior and Intermediate)
(Calgary based position)
This position is responsible for all scheduling aspects for Major Projects within the organization. The scope of work includes all levels of scheduling, ranging from hands-on detailed preparation to overseeing the work of others.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Preparing all levels of (project) schedules on behalf of the owner
* Preparing a fully integrated master schedule including contractor schedules and owner’s tasks
* Overseeing the preparation / development of contractor schedules and providing Owner’s input
* Reviewing contractor schedules on format, completeness and accuracy
* Performing / defining and optimizing critical paths and coordinating schedule risk analysis
* Developing and maintaining a (historical) schedule database
Qualification of the right candidate:
* A minimum of 10 years scheduling experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
* Working knowledge of Primavera, SAP, MS Projects and PIMS
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Self starter with a proven ability to lead others
* Analytical
