Service Desk Analyst (Bilingual)

Nova Networks Inc. continues to grow and we are actively seeking multiple bilingual Service Desk Analysts to join our Service Desk team in Ottawa.

A little bit about this career opportunity: As a bilingual Service Desk Analyst, you will take on the challenge of being the first point of contact for our clients who require technical assistance. You could be supporting a wide range of clients - from local businesses to global enterprises. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Level 1 on-site/desk side support in a 24/7/365 environment
• Responding to end-user issues
• Diagnosing desktop, network, and server problems
• Finding solutions and resolving problems
• Performing regular preventive maintenance of all IT infrastructure
• Assisting with planning network upgrades
• Implementing migrations or new installations of desktop, network
• On-site team interfacing/escalating for assistance as required
A little bit about what we’re looking for in you:
• Excited by the challenge of providing superior end user application and desktop support to a wide variety of clients;
• Knowledge of Microsoft server products, Mail services, networking and backup systems;
• Extensive experience with the latest Microsoft products (Windows 7, SBS & server, Exchange, SQL), preference given to candidates with MCTS or MCITP;
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation;
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills;
• Experience working within a fast paced environment;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks;
• Fluency in English and French reading, writing and spoken skills;
• Willingness to provide "on call" or "after hours" support;
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, to ensure that our clients are supported 24/7/365
• Current Enhanced Reliability clearance or ability to obtain.
