Greens Keeper(s) EDM-14-049
 

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager, Golf and Curling Club, the Greenskeeper maintains the golf course property using powered and manual equipment. He/she maintains the greens, tee box areas, turf on fairways, sand boxed and rough areas. He/she also performs horticultural duties such as planting trees, shrubs and flowers, and maintaining and creating flowerbeds.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma AND some landscaping experience
OR
- An acceptable combination of education, training and experience will also be considered
AND
- A valid Driverís License (Alberta)

Language requirement: English mandatory

Knowledge Requirements Experience Requirements
- Of landscaping practices and techniques
- Of health and safety practices
- Of the rules and strategies of the game of golf, an asset - In landscaping or grounds maintenance
- In operating specialized turf care equipment such as mowers, electric clippers, sod cutters and pruning saws
- In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing

Salary: $ 14.80/hr - $ 16.18/hr

Successful candidates will be prepared to commence employment as soon as possible.
