Under the direction of the Personnel Support Program Manager, the Health Promotion Director (HPD) plans, organizes, and implements the local delivery of CFB Edmonton health promotion programs. He/she establishes and maintains a network of Heath Promotion (HP) representatives within the designated geographic area. The HPD organizes and secures operational resources needed for the delivery of HP programs and initiatives. He/She conducts formal and informal briefings for health providers, clients and military population and networks with various groups or organizations within the community.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Health Promotion or a health related science discipline such as Nursing, Mental Health/Social Work, Nutrition, Human Kinetics combined with some years experience in the delivery of community health or health promotion and prevention programs.
OR
- Baccalaureate in Health Promotion or a health-related science discipline (as stated above) combined with several years experience in community health or health promotion and prevention programs.
Language requirement: English essential, bilingualism (French / English) an asset.

Salary: $66,180 - $77,890 per annum
