Under the supervision of the Lancaster Park Golf & Curling Club Manager, the Kitchen Supervisor plans and organizes day-to-day operations food production and services. He/she prepares, cooks and serves food in accordance with menus, established and standardized recipes, and production control charts. The Kitchen Supervisor monitors and controls inventory, orders and receives stock and food supplies. He/she decorates or garnishes plates and dishes to suit the occasion. He/She supervises staff and prepares employee work schedules and trains staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures also participates in the selection of staff, as required.
Qualifications:
- College diploma, certificate or apprenticeship in hospitality, food service management, or a related field AND some years experience in hospitality, food and beverage service or a related field
OR
- High school diploma AND several years experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, or a related field
