Tour Operator seeks Intermediate/Senior Agent

We have an immediate opening for an Intermediate/Senior agent with international ticketing and Sabre GDS experience.
The candidate should be a motivated and well-rounded self-starter with a proven track record and an enthusiasm to join our dedicated team. A corporate or leisure background is preferred, but international ticketing and fare construction is a must. We are NOT A CALL CENTRE; we offer superior one-on-one customer service to our clients.
We are a leader in the small group tours industry, with 400 itineraries to over 120 countries worldwide and offices in Canada, England and Australia. Our Head Office is located in Richmond, B.C. Qualifications:
· Experience issuing international tickets and knowledge of international fares and routings
· Excellent knowledge of fare display/rules
· Comprehensive understanding of ticket queue systems
· Proficiency in Sabre and Microsoft Office
· Exceptional organizational/task management skills

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Book client air reservations to match our tours
- Handle a large variety of international tickets and manage ticketing deadlines
- Interpret Net Fare Contracts and Issue MPD''s for hotel stopovers
- Issue tickets for groups and individuals using Phase 4, forced pricing commands, as well as published fares
- Handle refunds and exchanges, weekly BSP reports and debit/credit memos
- Co-ordinate with various airlines
- Make reservations and order tickets from consolidators
