This customer/member support internship position has just opened up in order to give some real-world experience to individuals looking to get into software support. Get in on the ground floor by transferring proven skills into an industry in which you may have limited or no experience. We are looking for ability - we’ll give you the techniques. Our support people do more than serve our members; they are the voice of our members for the organization. Your role will be to ensure that our members have a great experience and that our organization is poised to provide this for them. Customer support interns are asked to give their feedback and suggestions on the product as well as get involved in several other aspects of the business. We are looking for well rounded people who are looking to move up in a growing organization.

Successful interns may be eligible for full-time paid work upon completion of the internship.

This is a tremendous opportunity for someone wanting to gain work experience and be mentored by some extremely talented managers. Core components of responsibilities will be handling software technical support enquiries via telephone and email, post-sales support, knowledge base population, and assisting with customer software training and documentation to support this function.

Requirements:

- Experience in handling software technical support via telephone and email; post-sales support and customer software training experience preferable but not mandatory.
- Associates degree in computer science, a computer repair college diploma, or similar relevant experience required.
- Experience as a computer technician or the ability to trouble-shoot common computer problems a huge plus
- Advanced knowledge of Windows platforms and common productivity applications
- Excellent verbal skills and phone manners, as well as good written communication skills
- Experience with trouble shooting, analysis , and problem solving of web-based or proprietary software desirable
- Ability to quickly grasp the essence of a customer inquiry is essential
- Ability to build and maintain a fantastic customer rapport
- Good team player, can do attitude, and drive a must!
