Business Development Executive, Government Accounts
Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Sales, the successful candidate will be accountable for developing new and current business with Government accounts while contributing to the overall success of the company. This is a one year contract position with the possibility of full time employment. What will get you hired for this job is your career history of selling telecommunciations services to the provincial (and some federal) government key contacts.
Requirements Required skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years experience in the telecommunication field of the government account vertical: this is a MUST for this position.
- Post-secondary education in business administration or a related technical field
- Ability to spearhead and manage the entire opportunity from bid responses to contract negotiations
- Exceptional proven track record
- Experience with telecommunications technologies
- Ability to develop complex technical proposals and present to all levels in clients’ organizations
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrable experience working with executive level contacts in the Government
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity
