We are looking for a Trade/Technical Sales Rep servicing Kelowna
Responsibilities:
• Recommend product and services through technical knowledge, industry knowledge and education
• Negotiate pricing within predetermined guidelines and delivery on a job to job basis
• Problem solving
• Expand existing business and source out new business through prospecting, networking and cold-calling
• Satisfy account and customer needs
• Maintain and build relationships within the construction, utility and energy sectors
• Work from home office servicing the Kootenay region reporting to the Sales Manager in AB
Requirements:
• University or college degree or diploma in Business or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Five years of direct selling experience
• Experience with sales within the building and construction industries
• Assertive, self confident and resourceful
• Strong communication and decision making skills
You will work to achieve set target sales while managing an assigned territory. You'll develop connections with new prospects while maintaining relationships with existing accounts as you fulfill their current needs with an eye towards providing for their future requirements as well.
