Prime Management Group Inc. is currently searching for a Regional Controller (Canadian Region VP level) for one of our clients. This Regional Controller will be part of the senior leadership team for the Canadian operation. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial activities of this Canadian operation which has a global presence. This leadership role will oversee a finance team and ensure proper reporting standards and information is recorded according to US GAAP requirements.
The successful candidate will have had experience with dealing within a project based environment. Previous experience in the construction/consulting engineer or any project based industry is a must. You must have great organizational skills, anticipate needed actions, attention to detail and exercises initiative within the scope of your responsibilities.

You will have a professional accounting designation (CGA, CA, CMA, CPA) as well as a degree in Accounting or Finance. You must have 15 - 20 years experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Controller role. You must have previous experience using US GAAP reporting standards as well as previous experience leading a team. A background in project accounting as well as working within a global culture is also required.
