Our client, a major refrigeration product manufacturer in the United States is currently searching for a Director of Canadian Sales for Central Canada.
The Director of Canadian Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for increasing sales within Canada for all products and services. Key duties include, establishing new and sustaining existing productive relationships with key decision makers, providing accurate market analysis, forecasting, and reporting on potential and actual sales, and developing and maintaining relationships with prospective and current customers. In addition, the Director of Canadian Sales will be required to establish measurable goals, monitor performance, provide ongoing feedback, and prepare written performance evaluations. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of commercial foodservice, proven knowledge of principles and techniques used in sales, marketing, management, and supervision, and knowledge of finance, accounting, quality management, and continuous improvement principles.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the food service refrigeration, display or cooking equipment industry
• Established contacts and/or relationships with a majority of the key personnel within the defined region
• 5 years of experience in a lead role with respect to sales support personnel and/or manufacturer’s representatives
