Our client, supplier to the automotive industry, is currently searching for an HR Generalist to liaison between employees and the HR department. This role will provided plant supervisors with information as well as answer any questions to employees regarding benefits, vacation, policies, etc. The HR Generalist will also manage disability claims, administer employee benefits, oversee the time management system as well as provide training sessions on a regular basis.
You as the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations to provide solid advice to the management team. You will have a positive and helpful nature in supporting all team members and plant management with inquiries.
• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or related
• 5 years experience in a Generalist role within a manufacturing environment
• CHRP designation an asset
• Strong computer skills (MS Suite of Software)
