This exciting and newly created position with a very successful automotive Tier 1 supplier will drive business growth while making the most of new revenue potential. The Business Development Manager will responsible for the Finance, Business Development, Purchasing, and IT departments as well as providing input to the Senior Management Team regarding sales, productivity, and profitability goals and objectives.
The Business Development Manager will oversee and lead all aspects of new business opportunities; including identifying and exploring RFQ opportunities, understanding manufacturing processes and advantages and disadvantages associated with new opportunities, approving quotations, as well as negotiating with vendor suppliers.
The preferred candidate will have strong leadership, time management, communication as well as presentation skills with a demonstrated history of innovation and ability to think outside the box!
Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field with an MBA preferred.
10 years of experience within a Financial Leadership position from within an automotive environment.
Professional accounting designation required.
Information systems management experience from within an automotive facility, ERP implementation experience preferred.
PMAC certificate an asset.
