This North American manufacturer of pumps to established and newly emerging industries as well as developing within new verticals is seeking a Western Regional Sales Manager to oversee their British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan territories. We are actively engaged in the recruitment of this dynamic position. The Western Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for consistently and aggressively growing the client base, market share and sales revenue of the region while maintaining exceptionally high responses for customer and service quality. Responsibilities include establishing and developing new accounts, maintaining or expanding upon existing accounts, managing distribution forecasts, as well as building and maintaining lasting relationships with their dealer base.
The key to your success will be your ability to communicate with distribution/dealers, consultants, engineers and end-users in a professional manner as well as feeling comfortable in the various dealer site locations. Your familiarity in dealing with fluid transfer equipment, your enthusiasm in landing new business, your ability to turn concepts into mechanical solutions with your “solution provider” mindset, as well as your strong customer service skills is what will set you apart in this role.
The Western Regional Sales Manager position requires the successful candidate to travel and participate in tradeshows and other venues to deliver product knowledge and expand in the marketplace.
Requirements
University or college degree - preferably in an engineering or related field
5-7 years of successful technical sales experience within Industrial environments preferably fluid transfer
Ability to interpret engineering, mechanical and electrical specifications
