Our government client is seeking a Human Resources - Organizational Designer - Advanced Level

Duration: 48 weeks
Providing advice and guidance to Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager and Section Heads in developing and integrating new organizational models or modifying current models
Providing advice to Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager and Section Heads regarding potential efficiency improvements
Coordinating the assessment, development, and organization of policies and procedures for organizational design purposes
Coordinating the implementation of organizational changes
Analyzing costs, associated risks and potential options
Gathering, compiling and assessing organizational design analysis
Reviewing existing work processes, organizational structures and providing assessment as to their efficiency and effectiveness
Identifying the required modifications to processes
Prototyping potential solutions, analyzing costs, associated risks and potential options
Designing a learning strategy, including the development of a customized Training Needs Assessment (TNA)
Facilitating meetings to achieve the above
Preparation and dissemination of communications as they relate to the Project Management Office Canadian Surface Combatant (PMO CSC)
Minimum Mandatory Qualifications:
Secondary school diploma is required
Completion of a graduate or doctoral degree in organizational behaviour or design or other relevant field, from a recognized post secondary institution may be required
Certificate, diploma or degree in Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Design, or Human Resources from a recognized post secondary institution
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required
Must have previous experience working in the Materiel Group of the Department of National Defence performing duties similar to those listed under 2.0 of the attached SOW.
Significant experience in “Lean Methodology”
Significant experience in writing work descriptions and other classification documentation.
1 For the purposes of this requirement, Significant and Recent is defined as three (3) years experience within the last seven (7) years
