Our client a well known door manufacturer in BC is currently has an opening for Inside Counter Sales / Estimator position
The ideal candidate must have an excellent math skills especially fractions and basic math procedures needed on a day to day basis to perform the job
Duties:
- Inside counter sales, Monday to Friday 8:00-4:30pm
- 90% of contract is done by incoming email, fax or phone
- 10% is walk in trade, in person
- Market out products thru dealers, brochures & website
- Estimating non standard size doors that do not fall within our standard published list
- Writing up orders, field inquiries about product specifications or order status
Requirements:
- Excellent Mathematics skills including addition, subtraction, decimals & fractions
- Able to use calculator without looking at fingers
- Intermediate Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet etc.,)
- AutoCAD experience desirable
- Ability to read a set of plans desirable
- Typing speed 30-50 wpm
- Strong team player
- Ability to work independently
- Multi-tasking ability, strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Positive attitude, people person with an outgoing personality
- Excellent customer service skills
Full Time, Permanent position
Salary range $37K-$43K depending on experience
