QABIS Inc. is an agency designed to provide assistance to individuals living with the effects of an Acquired brain injury. QABIS Inc. is dedicated to helping these individuals live the best quality of life possible. QABIS Inc. is looking for individuals to provide ongoing one-on-one support to clients within their place of residence.

Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one support to client within a residential setting
• Ensure safety and security of client
• Assist client in independent living situations
• Accompany client to appointments within the community
• Implementation of established cognitive programs
• Support client in daily activities and practical tasks
• Administer medication
• Assist with meal preparation and housekeeping duties
• Provide personal support work
• Complete documentation and reports as required
• Take clients to various professional appointments and document important details.

Qualifications:
• Post secondary Diploma or Degree in Human Services & Behavioural Science
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals with acquired brain injuries
• 2 years work experience in residential care is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Current CPI & CPR is an asset
• Available to do shift work
• Must be extremely flexible
• Valid driver’s license and having a vehicle is an asset
