We are currently looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join an internationally recognized producer of fresh and frozen bakery products.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Langley, British Columbia
Skill Requirements:
Education: Journeyman Industrial Electrician Trade Certification, Inter-provincial or Red Seal Certificate preferred or Journeyman Millwright Trade Certification, Inter-provincial or Red Seal Certificate preferred. Industrial mechanics and electrical background required.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a millwright/electrician in an automated industry
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Food Manufacturing Facility
Type of Equipment: In-depth familiarity and proven track record working with mechanics, machine shop practices (lathe & milling machines), welding, (ARC, TIG, MIG), electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic fields required
Specific Skills: Troubleshoot & diagnose PLC’s of food processing equipment (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens etc.) Maintain & repair any type of machinery and plant equipment. Overhaul of bakery equipment and preventative maintenance. Upgrade skills on an ongoing basis. Ability to work all shifts including nights & weekends. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, safe working habits & demonstrate commitment to Continuous Improvement. Ability to multi-task and work in a highly organized fashion with attention to detail and accuracy.
