Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week with every second Friday off.
Salary: $35.44 hourly + Pension, benefits, Relocation allowances and overtime at double time.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
Location: Opportunities are available across BC, including the lower mainland, Bella Coola, Burns Lake, Fort St John, Fort Nelson, Mackenzie, Terrace, Valemount
Skill Requirements: Lineman trade certification, Journeyman/Red Seal certification preferred, should there be no qualified Journeyman Power Lineman applicants, we may consider hiring 3rd and 4th year Apprentices at the apprenticeship wage.
Experience: 3-5 years experience, high voltage experience preferred.
Major Work Area: Installation, Maintenance, Repair, Service
Type of Equipment: Power line and cables, Switches, Poles, towers and guy wires
Specific Skills: Erect and maintain poles, towers and guy wires, Splice, solder and insulate conductors and wiring, Inspect and test power lines and cables, Install and maintain street lighting systems, Adhere to safety practices and procedures
