The Server will understand the true meaning of customer service excellence and possess a superior work ethic enabling him/her to be a positive and effective team leader. The successful candidate will possess some or all of the following characteristics:

The Restaurant Server is responsible for maximizing guest satisfaction in a friendly, accurate and professional manner. The server maintains a high level of service, integrity and hospitality at all times. Work duties include, but are not limited to the following:
•Maintaining complete knowledge of all menus: Liquor/Wine/Food/Dessert
•Maintaining a complete knowledge of the Alberta Liquor Regulations and ensuring all practices abide by the legislation
•Responding promptly to and acknowledging all guests & their needs in a timely fashion
•Establishing and maintaining positive guest relations
•Handling guest complaints in a positive and efficient manner
•Processing guest transactions using the Profitek POS System
•Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and organization in all service areas
•Greeting guests, explaining specials, suggestively selling menu items, and describing menu items in an accurate and appetizing way
•Picking up orders in a timely fashion and delivering them to customers with the utmost emphasis on customer service
•Checking back during meals to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
•Delivering guest check promptly and processing cash/credit transaction accurately
•Be familiar with the hotel and town amenities in order to answer hotel guest inquiries
•Perform other job related duties as outlined by management
