the primary function or role is to technically support Citrix servers, this resource may be required to effectively interface with or assist ministry development teams and other IT service groups with Infrastructure planning, upgrades and delivery. Ministry application teams will support corporate applications or services that run on these servers but Client is responsible to ensure that the Windows Operating System and all services run smoothly on these Intel servers. It is essential to provide near perfect service availability during summer Fire season.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proven ability to achieve project deliverables are required. The ability to interface and coordinate with other team leads in a large and complex environment is critical to overall team success. The prospective candidate requires specialized knowledge/understanding of CITRIX and their associated modules and significant experience with Network Servers. Rotational after hours on call support with evening and weekend work is expected during Fire Season (i.e. typically from mid April-October).
