Location: Calgary
Duration: 2 Years
Responsibilities will include:
• Performing analysis to define and document needs and requirements;
• Determining organizational readiness and identify approach to address gaps;
• Acting as liaison between the user and development groups;
• Participating in the planning and execution of system test and user acceptance test activities.
The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of production accounting and/or drilling and completions, as well as, basic Oil and Gas data understanding. The candidate will be very analytical and have a structured logical approach to design recommendations. The candidate must have experience as a systems/business analyst that has defined detailed software requirements including Use Cases. Strong people skills in both group and individual contexts, and strong client expectation management skills are essential for this role. In general, the key aspects of the role are to work with business and technical personnel to:
• Define and/or collaborate business architecture;
• Identify actors and use cases;
• Define/capture business rules;
• Detail and refine use cases and other software requirements;
• Create and/or collaborate on design artifacts;
• Participate in the testing lifecycle (strategy, planning, test cases and execution).
The position will report directly to the Project Lead.
