The key role is to provide on call support to the ministry via VPN access and onsite support as required for the Lotus Notes 6.5/Domino 7.0x and possibly Domino 8.0x environments. The resource will provide management of user ids and groups, monitor support for replication activity, SMTP mail support for mail enabled applications and minor application support. Support of 20 - 40 hours per month is expected, with the individual available on site within 2 hours of request.
This role also supports a shared environment hosted by IIR and delivered to IIR as well as Employment and Immigration, Culture and Community Spirit, ‘Tourism, Parks and Recreation and Finance and Enterprise Ministries. This requires the ability to troubleshoot Lotus Notes desktop issues remotely in order to determine if the problem is desktop, firewall, network connectivity or security related.
NOTE: Some stand-by support for evenings and weekends is expected.
