Responsible for planning, conducting and directing the analysis of complex problems to be solved with automated systems.
-Creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
-Directs the translations of functions to be automated.
-Designs details of automated systems.
-Provides consultation to users in the areas of automated systems.
In this position you will be supporting the Company Finance organization by providing business analytic support for Oracle Finance Application areas. You will support full analytical and design support for Finance business applications which include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting. Support of Order Management, Inventory, and Document Image Management is also required.
Essential Functions:
-Support order processing, order import, multi-lingual customer documents, credit card authorization, and advanced pricing.
-Support interfaces among internal Company systems and outside partners.
- Provide software development lifecycle support, including requirements gathering, design, specifications, development, change control, testing, deployment, maintenance, and global ERP upgrades.
-Consult with business users.
-Collaborate with and contribute to other Oracle application teams such as finance, inventory, manufacturing, shipping, and service.
-Manage the IT relationship with credit card processing centers, fulfillment partners, and service delivery partners.
-Support Sarbanes-Oxley, Disaster Recovery, security, privacy, documentation and other compliance initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
-Strong experience designing and documenting solutions for business needs.
-Strong experience translating business requirements to technical specifications.
-Experience working with multiple business and information technology groups.
-Strong knowledge of Oracle Order Management and Advanced Pricing business processes.
-Experience designing and problem solving with Oracle Workflow.
-Strong application design experience.
-Strong knowledge of system interfaces and application program interface (API).
-Experience with developing & tuning PL/SQL & SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader.
-Experience with issue tracking and version control software.
-Understanding of technical and infrastructure environments
-Strong communication, presentation and technical writing skills.
-Experience with project management.
Technical Skills Required:
-5 years of systems analyst experience with proven success at developing business requests into formal requirements and specifications.
-2+ years of project management experience in software development life cycle deployments.
-Strong SQL and PL/SQL experience.
