Interface with business and technical partners to analyze and propose solutions
* Evaluation of alternative solutions
* Strong data mapping skills.
* Creation of formal business requirements and functional specification documents
* Participation in system design sessions
* Creation and execution of integration and acceptance test approaches and plans
* implementation and ongoing operational support for client solutions
* Involvement in the complete development life cycle from requirements, design, implementation, unit and systems test, UAT and deployment
Qualifications:
Experience working in financial services is required. Strong understanding of portfolio accounting, partnership accounting and performance measurement preferred.
Strong hedge fund experience including in depth knowledge of derivative instruments such as swaps, futures, options, CFD's, credit default swaps and bank debt.
This candidate should understand the processing of derivative instruments and their impact on the general ledger.
5+ years experience in operations or business analysis with a hedge fund administrator or manger. Experience with front, middle and back office processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with project sponsors, business and technical partners.
