The SQL Server Database Administrator is a senior level position responsible for every phase of database administration and support on all database environments and operating system platforms within the SQL Server RDBMS product set including associated optional database products. The DBA III takes a lead role in providing knowledge and technical support to staff and management for the most complex and critical database systems in the areas of current and newer RDBMS technologies, tools and solutions. In addition, evaluation and analysis of custom, off-the-shelf applications and solutions from vendors is also a requirement. Willingness to expand RDBMS knowledge to Oracle by OJT learning experiences is a plus.
