Ability to meet committed timelines for projects dependent upon addition of project manager skillset.
Lead IT Project Manager will continue on follow-on releases of Networx throughout the year.
Skills Required/Preferred : Ability to manage multiple, highly complex, strategic and tactical projects for the Control self-service portal on a day-to-day basis. This includes creation of project plans, communication of project status, and to work closely with IT Managers and Business Partners to manage client expectations, ensure the delivery of expected requirements and managing the project post-deployment activities.
The Lead Project Manager is also responsible for the following:
** Effectively driving Project Planning/Management for numerous large/complex projects simultaneously
** Effectively driving Risk/Issue Identification & Management to resolution
** Ensuring projects meets the expected budgetary and scheduling guidelines
** Effectively utilizing defined Software Lifecycle Processes & Tools
** Facilitating discussions to quickly drive resolution of issues
** Working with client/stakeholder to ensure effective communication and overall satisfaction with the project
** Coordinating with all appropriate groups and personnel to ensure excellent delivery of programs
Minimum Qualifications
** Bachelor**s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
** Five to Ten years Project Management work experience within an IT Organization.
** PMI Certification
Addt**l Qualifications:
** Knowledge of Telecom Industry
** Knowledge of Ordering Systems a plus
** Knowledge of business and technology work processes and the ability to use this knowledge when consulting across organizations
** Strong ability to influence others and to build trusting relationships with clients and peers
** Proven program/project management skills
** Ability to coordinate a project across multiple organizations
** Show initiative and creativity in gathering and analyzing data
** Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities, set direction and solve problems in a fast paced environment
** Strong communications and presentation skills
** Strong ability to coordinate project with all levels of the management (Other PMs, Managers, Directors)and across organizational boundaries
** Familiar with ITGT, ProXM, and associated tools such as EZWarp and IT Financials to manage financial aspects of projects
** Positive and can-do attitude a must for this high paced group
