Responsible for identifying, defining, and modeling the technical infrastructure based on the application architecture for new functionality or new application development. This includes the integrated hardware, software, and communications components that provide the technical platform for the application solution and supporting data structures. Works with application engineer and Technical Services to provide a technology solution.
Skills / Experience:
This role will be responsible for ensuring a stable and reliable Production environment for The Network Connection (TNC) application. Role will be responsible for monitoring, and troubleshooting issues relating to, the following Siebel components; Resonate Server, Gateway Server, Application Server, Remote Servers, Object Managers, Workflow Managers, Request Broker, Sync Manager, Transaction Router, Merger, and Processor, Siebel File System, Siebel Anywhere, Database Extracts, EAI Object Manager, Actuate Report Management Console, Reports Object Manager, and Siebel Report Server. To get the job done, this role will be required to coordinate efforts with the TNC Application Engineers, TNC Integrated Applications team, and various teams within NM Tech Services. Role will be responsible for assessing proposed changes to NM infrastructure for risks or issues to TNC. Role will also need to be proactive in keeping current with Siebel news and events and up to date with Siebel technology. Communicates status and escalates issues to the Production Event Manager.
Qualifications:
**Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a bachelor**s degree, in Computer Science, MIS or a related field.
**Strong technical skills and architecture design and modeling skills.
**Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
**Strong interpersonal skills; builds constructive relationships.
**Ability to handle uncertainty, ambiguity and conflicting views, and ability to work independently and drive design required. Capable of identifying and communicating risk appropriately.
**Shares information within the team to keep open lines of communication
**Uses I.S. standardized processes and templates effectively for written communication.
**Demonstrated flexibility, ability to manage multiple priorities and ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty.

**Proficient and knowledgeable in use of ECC best practices, blueprinting, concepts of applied architecture, and security best practices
**Knowledge and/or experience with UDB DB2 databases, UNIX OS, Windows OS, and Web applications desired.
**2 years of Siebel 7.0 or above desired.
