The candidate must have detailed knowledge of MM and Purchasing functions in the ECC6 (or similar) release.
** The candidate must have at least 3 years of SAP MM and Purchasing experience, and have served on at least one project as a team lead.
** The candidate must possess a broad conceptual understanding of SAP MM and Purchasing applications and their integration points with other parts of the SAP system (e.g. FI, SD, PP, etc.).
** The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills.
** The candidate must have excellent leadership traits.
** The candidate must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
** The candidate must be willing and able to travel weekly to Golden, Colorado, and possess the ability/willingness to travel as needed to Canada and the UK.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
** Assist project management with planning estimates, resource requirements, status updates, etc., as needed.
** Create solution design documents (primarily system designs, but could include process or other design components) for purchasing, material master, and other areas that involve SAP**s MM application.
** Assist the business team in the documentation of detailed business requirements.
** Configure the SAP MM and purchasing functions to meet the detailed business requirements.
** Develop detailed test plans for the testing of the new functionality and processes.
** Develop and catalogue detailed test scripts (unit and integration) for the testing of the new functionality and processes.
** Partner with our business end-users to execute all unit and integration test scripts, obtain business buy-in, document and help resolve issues as they arise, and achieve business sign-off on all test scripts.
** Follow all internal and external audit requirements with respect to change control procedures, documentation, testing, sign-off, etc.
** Assist with the development of detailed cutover plans and execution strategies, as well as the execution of cutover tests.
** Assist with the execution of cutover activities and post-go-live support.
** Provide recommendations and **thought leadership** throughout the project with respect to any and all activities related to the successful and timely completion of the project. |
