The candidate must posses:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; capable of breaking down complex situations to discover & resolve root causes
Strong oral and written communication skills
The ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast paced environment
The ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations and move easily between varied task
Demonstrated experience in multiple test techniques
Ability to convert Business and System requirements into positive and negative testcases
Technical skill set needed:
4+ years experience in testing including acting as testing lead for project
Experience defining test scope, test schedules, communicating issues and status to project management
Experience in developing test plans
Experience with integration testing. Coordinating testing efforts across multiple teams.
Experience writing test cases, creating bug reports, executing and tracking testing assignments
3 + years experience in Web-based software testing process and procedures. Experience in .NET and SQL a plus.
Experience in data validation and cross-system testing
Experience in mainframe and client server testing
Experience in testing in batch and interactive mainframe environments
Understanding of retail concepts a plus |
