This position is highly technical and requires a thorough understanding of Safeway's Enterprise Systems Management infrastructure. This position is concerned with understanding the Enterprise Systems management vision and how it relates to the overall business needs, and is constantly seeking solutions to address known limitations with our services using best practice industry standards. The incumbent is responsible for researching, designing and implementing network monitoring standards, and network automation to ensure integration, manageability and security compliance. This position performs a variety of complicated tasks, provides the experience and judgment required to accomplish team goals and constantly improve network automation services. The person in this position will demonstrate good knowledge in a variety of IT Service Management concepts, practices, and procedures such as the ITIL framework.
