Job description:
Responsibilies/Requirements:
** Review the Remedy System Requirements Specification and develop a Design Plan for the system
** Recommend any adjustments to the hardware and software components Working in a cross-functional project team, define workflow customizations for the implementation
** Configure and customize the Remedy application
** Prepare a Test Readiness Reports and confirm completion of test phase entry criteria with the Government
** Develop a test plan and procedures
** Perform defect correction and related activities as directed by the customer during test execution
** Conduct activities as directed by the Government to ensure migration of software to production use
** Provide application administration reference materials for the customized application to support production operations
** Execute database consistency checkers
** Check database error logs
** Manage database clean-up, restore, and backup as needed
** Import and administer data through automation or manual tasks
** Monitor network for performance or error related conditions
** Monitor client statuses, server components and services
** Monitor event logs and primary servers
** Monitor System Performance
** Monitor System Directory structures for changes and failure Backup and Restore procedures
** Develop Remedy workflows to support core processes
** Modify and maintain database schema to support workflow data Develop custom operational reports as required by the government
** Improve database, network, and application performance
** Produce management reports to help provide a real-time representation of the current system state
** Review access to server and application functions
** Confirm site recovery from backup media
** Solicit and complete feedback surveys
** Troubleshoot and Fix problems reported
** Review process improvement options and suggestions from users and management
** Review status information for security violations Amend access to security function
