Opportunity Description:
However, the real payback of business process modeling and analysis comes from the ability to execute, measure and optimize the model and, therefore, we are conducting a Proof of Concept for a Business Process Management Suite.

The Proof of Concept will involve getting the software on site and working with the software vendor to implement and test the product in our environment using a sample set of processes. We anticipate this work to take approximately 2 - 3 weeks but this will be dependent on the approach and plan proposed by the vendor that satisfies our objectives.

The objectives of the Proof of Concept will be:
• to assess the ease of use of the product from a
business user’s perspective;
• to assess the product features that support the life
cycle of a process (from modeling to execution to
monitoring and optimization);
• to fully understand the technical complexity of the
product;
• to assess the sustainment/support models that will
be required;
• to identify the skill sets that are required to run it;
• to assess the compatibility of the system within
our current technical environment; and
• to establish a business case/ROI for this tool in our
organization.
