This is a voluntary opportunity for teaching students of grade 1-12.Volunteers would also get an opportunity (optional) to work with the students of our school for Underprivileged girls called 'Nishchay'. This is a special project initiated by us as our responsibility towards society. Nishchay has been recognized as a special project by the Duke of Edinburgh award. The working days of the school are from Monday- Saturday Every week the visiting teachers are expected to devote 4 hours per working day to our school. During the stay, the visiting teachers shall provide lessons/teaching sessions to the students of NMS and in this; they shall have full freedom of choice of methods, techniques and manner of teaching/instructions. During the stay of the visiting teachers, our school shall provide proper working space/room to perform their work and the school shall cater to all the miscellaneous needs of the teachers.
However, NMS expects the visiting teachers to have commitment toward the job and the teachers during their stay with NMS shall not collaborate with any other school or organization of Jaipur without prior permission of Neerja Modi School.
The volunteer would be given a choice of selecting the grade that he/she would like to teach. They would have to cover a part of the subject curriculum (Drama, Theatre, Music and Art being the exceptions) However, the teachers will have full freedom to use their own methodology, style and technique of approaching the subject.
Special Provisions
The NMS as a special gesture would also fully support and sponsor any particular interest of the visiting teachers such as learning any music instrument, yoga, cooking, any Indian language, chocolate making, they wish to learn while in India. These interests are just illustrative and do not restrict the choice of visiting teachers to pursue any particular interest or activity of his/her choice.
