Accountable for critical components of application development, including interfacing with clients for requirement analysis and application design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation, providing leadership and guidance to the team while adhering to change management and Project Management practices and procedures, evaluating and adapting to new technologies, and leading the development effort. Maintains current expertise, and acts as an expert resource to the IT Department
As a member of the IS management team, works closely with other senior staff in the identification, diagnosis, isolation and resolution of division-wide complex problems and implementations, while ensuring all parties are kept abreast on the status of the issue or issues.
Develops and shares expertise regarding business applications, business process, tool, development standards, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of systems and technology trends.
Acts as a project manager leads project teams through the planning, development, testing, and implementation and support of applications.
A university degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering or equivalent, coupled with relevant, ongoing education and/or experience in project management, application procurement, application development, design and implementation.
Relevant practical experience in project management, business processes, control structures and information systems design, development and implementation will be considered in lieu of a university degree
The Team Lead is a systems and support position with leadership and technical expertise, requiring 7 to 10 years experience designing, planning, implementing and supporting applications in multi-platform environment (AS/400 and Java).
