Yardi Systems Specialist
Perform all user account related administrative work - new user setup, turn over, change of role, password reset, etc.
Liaison with Yardi Systems developers and interface vendors during development and testing to ensure business user requirements are fully implemented and system quality is maintained
Weekly meeting with Yardi Payscan team to address bugs, hotfixes, function requests, etc.
Provide how-to guidance for users
Troubleshoot software problems and projects as they arise and support employees with Yardi related computer issues (ActiveX Controls, Java, Trusted Sites, Outages)
Track completion of software issues and escalate projects to senior management accordingly.
Work with the IS group on all systems related projects to ensure proper compatibility
Tracking user access and security into accounting applications and ensure security standards align with client accounting services standard procedures
Prepare Yardi data to be exported to other proprietary and third party vendor systems
Gather requirements and facilitate design for custom solutions, workflows, reports and other tools
Responsible for assessing the reporting needs of finance, operations, capital, and other relevant business units and write extensive custom reports using Crystal, SQL Script, or SSRS in a timely fashion.
Improve automation and efficiency of business processes (includes Excel VBA automation)
Infrastructure / Performance Monitoring
Monitor and report performance issues to Yardi ASP team. Monthly meeting with Yardi ASP to review performance analytics and address any issues.
Prepared to communicate with Yardi support team 24/7 to resolve issues causing down time.
Ensure consistency across the company's property management technology platform which is composed of Yardi, third party vendor solutions, and custom software applications
Attend Yardi conferences to actively contribute to the direction of the software by communicating issues and enhancements that would benefit business operations
Assist with the management of departmental projects. Analyze moderate to complex business needs to design appropriate solutions.
Working with business partners to understand priorities, scope and expectations for each project so that the project team is set up for success
Analyzing change, impact and recommending actions and/or alternatives, analyzing risks and recommending mitigation decisions
Identifies process and system improvements and implements solutions that will increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction by using established processes to initiate a new project/work effort
Effectively manage user communications during system downtime and service level disruption.
Document how-to user guides and processes
Work with Timbercreek training department to develop user training material
Compile, establish and advocate operations policies, procedures and best practices including those for security and standards.
Able to identify deficient systems and make constant improvements
