Engineering Sales Representative
 

We are currently seeking an Engineering Sales representative for our client who is a leading manufacturer and supplier of sensors and measuring equipment for every type of manufacturing industry.

You will be joining a company that did over $1.5 Billion in sales last year, is known for its intensive training programs, has 1,500 highly trained sales engineers worldwide and is still growing strong.

The Engineering Sales Representative is responsible for revenue generation, sales growth and business development within a given geographical territory. The Engineering Sales Representative will explain and persuade potential and existing clients on company's products and services.
Responsibilities:

* Call on clients within a designated geographic territory
* Set up customer visits
* Respond quickly to customer requests
* Demonstrate exceptional product and designated industry knowledge
* Select and promote company products/services properly for the application
* Secure new customers consistently and efficiently
* Implement new product launch strategies
* Sell products/services into multiple industries
* Coordinate account strategies
* Contribute to territory’s strategic plan
* Deliver growth in market share within sales territory
* Coordinate off-site seminars and trade shows
* Manage the day-to-day activities with little or no managerial supervision
* Use strong oral and written skills to explain complicated technical information to clients
* Understand and observe company policies and procedures
* Other duties will be assigned as necessary

Qualifications:

* 4 year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or three years industrial sales experience.
* Excellent organization and time management skills
* Perfectly bilingual (French/English)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Can effectively contribute with little or no supervision
* Career minded and looking for a job where they can eventually grow into a management role

Compensation:

Starting salary is $40,000-$45,000 per year plus commissions. First year earnings will be $50,000-$55,000 at 100% quota. Also included is a car allowance.
