Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Hands on position responsible for managing and oversight of Logistic activities associated with a next-generation Nuclear Power Plant in China.
• Acts as an expert in the review and analysis of specialized Logistics issues.
• Evaluates options and recommends actions.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• B.S. Degree required.
• Minimum 10 years experience managing logistics efforts on large Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts.
• Able to provide direction in any of the following areas:
Freight Forwarding Requirements and Contract Implementation.
Selection of Marshaling and Consolidation Points.
Shipment Planning and Consolidation Opportunities.
Rate Negotiation.
Ocean Freight Carrier Selection.
Customs Clearance.
Inland Freight to Delivery at Site.
Communication and Reporting.
Project Closeout.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff through coaching, and guidance.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
