Duties/ Responsibilities:
• To oversee construction of the Containment Vessel in the Containment Building.
• Monitor the Containment Vessel Schedule to identify trends and takes proactive measures
to maintain progress.
• Ensure site QA/QC Program is being followed by Construction Subcontractors.
• Ensures Safety Standards are being met.
• Implement programs to oversee and monitor progress of Construction Contractor.
• Support coordination of interfaces between design groups and ensures design supports
construction.
• Interface with the Procurement Group to provide schedule and technical requirements for
procurement of materials.
• Provide routine reporting on construction contractor activities, including immediate
reporting of urgent issues.
• Foster harmonious working relationships and professionalism between and among all site
engaged activities.
• Provides for audits and surveillances to ensure milestones are met for contract
performance.
• Resolve complex problems to assist the project between internal and external
organizations.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• 15-20 years experience.
• Proven track records in self performed construction nuclear work.
• Expertise in Nuclear Containment Vessel Experience.
• Construction Management or Engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• ASME Code Welding Containment Liners.
• Heavy Lifting Experience.
• Fabrication of Heavy Plates - Liner is 1 3/4" Thick.
• Nuclear Experience Procedures and Methods.
• Ultra Sonic Testing.
• Magnetic Particle Testing.
• Weld Repair Processes.
• Any prior experience in Containment Liner Erection.
