Operations Process Lead
Opportunity Description:
Our client has a need for an Operations Process Lead for their SAP Group. This role will work as a team member of the Operations Application Support Team within the department to provide support of operations business unit processes and related information technologies. The right candidate will be expected to provide internal platinum consulting services to support Group team members, in the SAP modules of Plant Maintenance, Device Management, Materials Management, Service Management and Sales & Distribution.
Other responsibilities include:
• Lead small teams to resolve process and technical problems and implement enhancements
• Work with users to quickly and effectively implement solutions, ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and documented before promotion to the production system
• Communicate to the Process Managers any constraints such as timing and budget that will impact on the scope of the release
• Manage activities of functional team resources including consultants, Process Managers and end-users, to ensure they are performing tasks according to the approved release plan
• Implement the changes required to the SAP system (configuration, forms, reports) or to the business processes, to support the approved enhancements
• Perform the appropriate unit, integration and regression tests to ensure the new functionality works as planned, that existing processes that may be affected continue to work as before
• Provide the material, structure and resources for on-going training and support. Where possible, recruit coaches and key users in providing training and updating documentation
Specialization and Skills:
2 - 4 years ERP/CRM/ECM SAP - PM
Additional Requirements:
• Expert level knowledge of SAP - Plant Maintenance (mandatory)
• Expert level knowledge of SAP - Service Management (mandatory)
• 2 - 4 years experience in working in a sustainment role
• 2 - 4 years experience undertaking small to large business analysis and/or system design projects
• Self-motivated, analytical, and very detail-oriented (mandatory)
• Experience with interfacing between SAP and other systems (mandatory)
Work Environment:
Full-time in Surrey
