The Company is seeking a Consultant for its Toronto office. A Consultant applies analytical tools, related theories, and methodologies to answer difficult "real-world" questions, often in the context of litigation. The work of a Consultant can be either qualitative or quantitative in nature. Projects may include identifying case objectives and recommending case strategies, assisting in the design of research plans, conducting detailed analysis, preparing client memos, reports, and proposals. A Consultant may work on cases independently or as part of a group. At times, the Consultant may manage small projects and/or teams. This is a full time position.
A successful candidate will possess an advanced level of understanding of accounting, finance, and economics, as well as a strong knowledge of practice related analytical tools, research, and methodologies, and knowledge of the various technical aids available to resolve issues.
A business degree, as well as a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation are required. Other requirements include successful organization and project management skills, excellent decision-making and problem solving capabilities, and the ability to manage small case teams.
