SENIOR ACCOUNTANTS - HAMILTON

Our Company has immediate openings for experienced SENIOR ACCOUNTANTS who will be responsible for providing Auditing and Assurance services to clients in the Hamilton and Mississauga area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who live in Hamilton or the surrounding area to gain invaluable work experience with a National firm within their community. We are seeking individuals that have demonstrated abilities to work within a confidential environment, are flexible and adaptable to multiple requirements of the role, and are comfortable working independently and in teams.

Specific responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):


· Engagement management - manage field work of various files including primarily audit and review engagements
· Mentoring and Supervision of staff -oversee daily work of Junior and Intermediate Accountants and provide coaching and support as required
· Tax compliance for corporate returns

Competencies will include (but not be limited to):


· University degree in accounting or business with an accounting major
· Qualified Ca and wrote UFE in 2004
· Minimum 2 years experience in a public accounting firm
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required
· Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word)
· Good working knowledge of Profile and CaseWare/Caseview is an asset!
