Because it is a people management role (will have 8 - 10 Project Mgmt Consultants working for them) candidates will need to have strong people management experience and have a track record of having successfully developed and mentored PM's
Apps will need to be Sr PM's already (having managed projects with budgets in excess of $2 Mil) and have in-depth FI knowledge and experience (i.e. have come from an FI or a consulting firm that's done extensive work with the banks).

Description:
The incumbent will lead the Project Office group to provide Project Managers with expert consultancy in Project Management processes (PMF) and Capability Maturity Model (CMMI) based processes across the company.
The incumbent will program manage the enterprise CMMI Process Deployment initiative across IT and monitor the effectiveness and compliance of the defined processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop strategy, plan and lead the deployment of standard Project Management Processes, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Governance across IT.
Lead the development of strategies, standards and guidelines for Project Management Improvement Initiatives across IT.
Lead the Project Office group in delivering strategic solutions and providing value-added Project Management consulting services to Project Managers across COMPANY IT.
Plan, execute, implement and monitor enterprise Project Management Process improvement initiatives (e.g.COMPANY CMMI-based Processes Deployment Project).
Accountable for the successful deployment of COMPANY Project Management Process Improvement Initiatives (e.g., CMMI), ensuring target goals and objectives are met through monitoring of the progress and continuous enhancements to the deployment process.
Lead the deployment of Project Management methodology (PMF), processes and best practices in support of COMPANY IT's Strategic Goals and Objectives.

As well, experience must include some time spent in systems development roles that involved the implementation of processes.
Very well-developed knowledge of the Capability Maturity Model.
In-depth knowledge of Project Management Processes, PM tools, and the Systems Development Life Cycle.
Strong knowledge of Project Management Institute best practices Proven experience in program management and people management.
Proven experience in the development and rollout of cross-functional processes.
