Our Firm is looking for a very seasoned Brokerage Project Manager.
They have to be primarily Applications focused.
Profile
-Somebody who can work independently, outspoken, who can deliver and
Who is highly competent.
-No micro-management involved
- Someone who has strong PMP methodology knowledge.
-This role reports into to the Business not IT.. But running IT projects -there are 3 Contract Project Managers (and the VP needs to build a team consisting of full time resources as well as contract resources; right now the team is 5 people)
-Capital Markets knowledge is a must. FX would be great but as long as you have strong Brokerage knowledge that is fine.
- Project Budgets would be $2-6 Million
- One of the projects would be to choose a " Risk Management and trading Platform for Foreign Exchange"
- Vendor solution... Could be Wallstreet, Murex, or Calypso?
- Right now they are using a Mainframe on the back end and they are using Reuters electronic trading.
- Reports to the Executive Director of Foreign Exchange ( Business side) who is a fantastic Manager!!!!
