Database Configuration
• Installation of SQL Server 2005
• Establish backup/restore jobs and database maintenance procedures
Dynamics Navision
• Dynamics Navision server installation and upgrade
• Installation of Dynamics Navision client’s on all platforms including Citrix and Terminal Server
Web Platform
• Installation and setup of Dynamics Navision web components including Business Portal on WSS and workflow on SharePoint server
• Installation of various Dynamics Navision web solutions including Forecaster, FRx Webport and Workplace Requisition Management
Data Conversion / Migration
• Assist project team with the manipulation of client legacy data
• Assist with importing data utilizing Dynamics GP integration tools
Certifications
• Windows 2003 MCP or MCSA
• 70-431: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - Implementation and Maintenance
• Microsoft Dynamics Navision \ Installation & Configuration - 8814
The candidate must be willing to achieve appropriate Microsoft certifications if not already held.
The successful candidate should also be an experienced Microsoft Office applications user.

• Be self-motivated. Learning new skills without prompting is expected.



Practical experience in any or all of the following would be desirable:
• Installation and configuration of Dynamics GP
• Windows SharePoint Services - Dynamics GP Business Portal
• Data migration/conversion between disparate systems
• Experience with Crystal Report Writer and/or SQL Reporting Services would be an asset.
