The position is both compliance and non-compliance driven, although more emphasis is placed on a decent
amount of non-compliance work; we are looking for a candidates with non-compliance experience. We are
looking for someone who is strong academically, has an eagerness to learn, and demonstrates excellent oral
and written communications skills.
I believe some of the benefits of the firm and the position include:
- greater work/life balance
- greater responsibility and autonomy than larger firms
- working with a close knit tax group
- excellent career growth opportunity
- opportunity to deal with client(s) directly rather than report to a partner or other contact who
then deals with client
- opportunity to work on complete projects from start to finish (not just one section of an estate
plan or tax reorganization)
- growth oriented firm
