The candidate reports directly to the Partner, Business Valuations and Litigation Support. The firm’s diverse client mix provides its professionals with a wide range of challenging engagements including valuations for shareholder disputes, matrimonial matters, purchase/sale transactions, Accountants’ and Auditors’ Professional Negligence, income tax reorganizations and damages quantification for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, lost profit and fraud matters.
The candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of engagements, providing research and technical support, exceeding client expectations, identifying and handling technical issues and problems on files as directed by the partner, assisting in the preparation of reports, and supporting the marketing initiatives of the practice.
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and training:
• CA designation
• A minimum of 1 year business valuation experience
• Enrolment in the CBV program with the goal of obtaining the CBV designation
• Exemplary attention to detail and self review skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Desire to exceed clients’ expectations.
• Ability to meet client deadlines and budgets
