Our client is seeking applications for suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Corporate Accountant. The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for the day to day accounting function of the Company, ensuring the integrity and consistency of accounting records, and managing financial reporting.
Reporting to the CFO, the Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the candidate are:
Manage and supervise the day to day operations of the Accounts department
Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for special purpose entities including the review of applicable corporate documents and communication with clients and professional intermediaries.
Attend to the month-end closing and reporting process in accordance with the corporate calendar; prepare month-end financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements; prepare departmental variance and trend reports.
Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
Required Skills:
Applicants must be a qualified ACA, CA, Accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years post qualification experience
Must have minimum of 2 years audit experience preferrably within a Big Four firm
Must have multi-jurisdictional experience
Must have an in depth understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles, specifically detailed knowledge of International Accounting Standards
Experience within a professional services firm would be a definite advantage.
