Project Manager with Financial Exp. - B195217

Location: Toronto, Ontario
You will be accountable for managing the assigned project(s) through the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) in accordance with the clients companies Project Management Methodology.
Primary Responsibilities
- Accountable for the project management process and project management deliverables, for assigned projects.
- Ensures 100% compliance to company’s project management methodology by ensuring that recognized project management processes, discipline and controls are consistently applied to projects.
- Negotiates and issues project documentation as agreed to by the Project Sponsor and involved Stakeholders.
- Identifies all project dependencies and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed
- Ensures mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks
- Executes project management deliverables within budget and as per the approved project plan, working with business partners to develop the content of those deliverables.
- Controls change to project scope through accepted change management processes and
documentation
- Investigates, escalates and ensures that all project issues are effectively resolved.
- Develops an understanding of the technical/business aspects of the project in order to effectively manage the project and resources.
We are looking for solid candidates with the following Requirements:
- PMP or equivalent
- 5 + years full project management experience
- Comfortable dealing with all levels of the organization
- Ideally bank, financial or product experience
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Strong team focus who is Confident and professional
