Law Clerk - Real Estate
The main responsibilities of the position will include all matters relating to the completion of commercial purchase, sale and financing transactions. The successful candidate should have a strong transaction background and will be able to interpret search results, prepare transaction documents, review and summarize documents and conduct off-title inquiries.
Education and Experience
Completion of a Legal Assistant Diploma program or equivalent; five or more years of related work experience in a large firm environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Proficiency with computers including advanced MS Office 2007 skills
Knowledge and Skills
PPSA accreditation & a Commissioner For Oaths
Dedication to providing quality client service; team player with strong interpersonal and management skills
Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately; able to respond to urgent client requests outside of normal business hours from time to time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Dedication to high quality and accuracy with attention to details
Previous Law Firm experience along with a legal diploma is required for this position.
